I’m a new grower and started with a single plant to get my feet wet and see how it goes. I built a 30x30x70 grow box in my garage running mars hydro ts600. Planted germinated Tropicana Cookies seed on December 24 in Fox Farms Ocean Forest. Did not start nutes till 3rd week of veg. Nutes are General Hydroponics and added to 1 gal of ph 6.3 tap water - 1 ml cal mag / 5 ml micros / 1 ml grow / 3 ml bloom. I water when soil feels dry pretty deep down. However I have a few leaves with browning (see photo) any ideas??? Baffled!
Plant seems okay to me? I don't see any browning leaves. Might wanna try n get the pH more around 6.5 - 6.8 but it seems fine to me. Sent from my LM-X420 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
I use the same soil and others have experienced the same issue with fox farms ocean forest is that it's pretty hot at first or high in nutrients. So the first month, month and a half I just water with no food. It seemed to help cause I continue to use the soil to this day and haven't had issues since. congrats on the training !!for a new grower she looks like a winner just try to get her healthy make sure she is good and green before you flip to flower Dont get in a hurry i suggest adding molasses to your water and getting some superthrive vitamin spray but put it in the water dont spray it and calmag wouldnt hurt
just keep an eye on the new growth those old bottom leaves can come off anyways new ones will grow to replace them
