Hello all and thank you in advance for any andall comments or help anyways im just going to post a couple pics and hopefully that will be enough for the experts hereto offersome insight! Thank again!
yur plant looks like its starving. u need to report more than that if u want a better answer. Can you tell us the ph, the nutes, the ppm/ec? the temperature? are you using bennies?
A little insight as to what the set up is i have 2 plants per 8 litre bucket each with massive air stones in bottom holding 4 litres water i got the nutes dialed down to about a third strength as these are mostly cuttings and seedlings and they were just moved to tent where i have 2 Tasty T4-2100 334 watt LEDs which are about 2 ft away from plants and turned down to about 65% my humidity is always between 50-65% and temp between 24-28°C i have proper ventilation and multiple fans going aswell as an AC going incase the temp gets warm....anyways i had just moved the seedlings into buckets a couple days ago and into the tent from under the floresent where they had origanally popped and sprouted in a small prop bubbler contraption where they were doing fine......im thinking i moved them and they were too small for the buckets and not ready for led lights but this wouldnt be the case with the bigger cuttings aswell and almost all are showing these same necrosis type signs ,i just finished my first grow with basically all the same factors and equiptment and had a beautiful turn out ,but this time starting of not so smooth. Thanks for listening and any and all help or advice.
the plant are not absorbing. I see N def P def maybe mag def says roots. You never mentioned temps. Some nutes I have no luck with in hydro and prefer 3-part. You may also have pests as I see some speckling on the plant to the right. Check you roots. Did you add beneficial organisms?
No bennies and roots seem fine nice and white and growing i use for nutes holland secret the miceo grow and bloom aswell as the royal black and have added some CaliMagic to the mix just incase and for temps are you meaning the room or water temp? Room is around 24-28°c and water temp ive never checked with meter but i know last run it was getting warm from pumps blowing hot air into buckets so i switched out with different lunger air tubing and ran the excess tubing through theAC and that kiboshed the heat problem real fast and as far as pests .....i havent seen any bugs at all not 1 even anywhere in my home let alone the grow space
I also have 2 in dirt going that were fine through all this until i just noticed some curling and brown spots and like almost a whilting look
yea, i use HS nutes atm without problems. i was more worried about water temps, should be 18c. I've been flipping ice packs into my res each day, might want to consider since overheated roots can cause similar problems. The ones one the bottom look like a different issue, but still related to roots. You need to monitor the runoff. Are you using tap water with the 3-part? I only use 20% tap water (the rest RO) with my hydro units because its too hard otherwise. Also 400-550 ppm is high for their stage. Might want to back it off more. Might need to increase the pH to 6.1 maybe 6.2 for a day or so out of the week.
Change the water, flush the salts out. Refill water with PPM's to 400 and PH to 5.9 on the hydro part.] Cover the lids, any light hitting the water will screw you bad. I'd even say flush the dirt ones, adjust PH to 6.5 and PPM's to 350. Follow this PH chart like the gospel.
Inspect your roots in the hydro and see if they are white as show. If not then you need hydroguard or something to add good bacteria to the water. What's them white spots on the dirt ones? Look on the bottom of the leaves and see if you see any bugs.
Hello there, Looks like a nutrient deficiency. The environment conditions seem okay, so if you don't have a pest problem, I would suspect something is going on at the root zone. I would recommend to increase your pH a little to around 5.7-5.8 and make sure the water temperature doesn't get too warm. One of the most common problems with growing in hydro is the temperature of the water. Try to keep your water around 18°C (65°F). Your plant is undergoing a lot of stress, so I would recommend a foliar application of our Super B+ stress reliever at a rate of 2mL/L. Please don't hesitate to email us directly to try and troubleshoot the problem. Regards, Future Harvest Support marketing@futureharvest.com
Thanks everyone for your comments and advice .... when i get home from work i will flush everything ive been looking at hydroguard and i rhink this has made my mind up andthe decision easier so i will grab on way home and hopefully they are not too far gone and they come back....i feel like ive let them down, like i have neglected them ,i am a failure as a parent to my girls! Ill post update when i get home thanks again!
