So I got charged with possession last week. They walked in on my birthday, I was 17 at the time and they found us at 11:30 pm, so I was still a minor when I was charged. I think they charged me as an adult but I'm trying to get charged as a juvenile. I'm getting a lawyer, but I have a couple of questions. I had planned on going to college, will my college find out? It's out of state so I'd probably have to transfer my probation there given that the college still accepts me. Also, if I was charged as an adult can I appeal it and be charged as a minor?
no need to worry, as long as you didnt get possesion and intent to distribute, if you got caught with a little weed, and its your first time, you will probbly just get probation, unless its decriminalized in your state, here it is i will only get a fine
