Hi guys heres another post today i saw a few of the little crawlies on top of the soil again, and did the usual, neem oil and cayenne pepper spray and lifted her up to do underneath the pot cos she has a large drainage hole and there were loads of little flies, then i disturbed the soil on top of her and found (red circle) what looks like a maggot. She is at minimum 2 weeks from harvest, what can i do??????? p.s im `100% flat broke until another 10 days so cant buy anything.. My questions are what are the maggots, what can i do? There is no visible signs of damage to her so what to do???? I think it is the 'scarid flies' - will this - kill her-ruin her-do nothing to her until the harvest? please please reply quick if you dont mind guys, im desperate to get her sorted...
i am no expert but i have done some reading and maybe covering your soil with some sand to sufacate the fukers,also i had spider mite under my leaves so i mixed a few drops of dish sope to some warterin a spray bottle and gave a little whrill and sprayed the leave ,worked a treat untill i got some good bug lkiller from my hydro store....
Cheers yeah i saaw the sand post in another of my threads, but i dont think spider mites are as much of a problem they regular spraying seems to have kept it at a minimum, and from what i can tell the 'scarid' fly wont damage my plant as its too mature. Its just a worry, and its always better to get another opinion as ive found.
