Ok so I got a nice rooted clone in rock wool it have it under cfl 50/50 aquarium 40 watt. I know it's not enough but is it ok to veg for a bit? I want to put it outdoors I think, I need some help with my options. The shorter time to cultivation the better. I have fox farms ocean forest soil and 5 gallon pot with a tray, I also have a quad 48" t5 fixture. Thanks guys
You should get it in soil in that pot if you haven't already. It would probably be better under the t5 though if it's easy enough to set up.
I just put it under the cfl in the pot just now, what light cycle should I use This early? Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
Some people use 24/7 for a bit at first, but personally I use 20/4 from seedling to the start of flower. Some people do 18/6 to save 2 hrs on lights, but the plants can benefit from 20 hrs of light in our 24 hr day. They need 2 hrs of darkness to fall asleep, so 2 hrs sleep is all they get in my grow room, but it keeps them growing.
What is it? Looks like a sensi star clone I got that turned out awesome, a plant that was for sure personal stash.
It's a Girl Scout apparently, it's 14 days old, great roots in rock wool. I have t5 and cfl but using my small cfl right now my t5 is 4 ft long. And has 20k and 10 bulbs for my reef tanks. Should I keep it under long light cycle for now? Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
Oh shit just called my friend who got it for me it's called star struck. Hmm he said he yields almost 12 oz per plant but he has a huiuuuge grow, I have two plants and seeds on their way Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
Put the t5 on there and she is looking great got two new leaf sprouts in one day, apparently the 20k and 10k work hmm it's 216 watts for one plant so it should Suffice right? Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
