I did the paper towel method an now my seeds got roots now I'm ready to put them into Pete pellets the question is should I put them under my t5 lights or what should I do next an if so what timing cycle
Yes, you can put them under lights but id put them carefully, root down into the jiffy pellet after making a hole with your finger, then sorta bury the seed carefully, but dont push on it. After the seed roots into the pellet you can place it under your lights on 18/6 schedule.
So I don't put them under any light until it's above the soil a bit but where should I put the Pete pellets until then
Yeah man, youll notice the seed has a nice lil white root. That root is fragile and snaps easy. So jus put a hole into the pellet for your seed to fit into, then kinda cover the seed with some soil from the pellet, carely, so that you dont put any pressure on that root. After a day or two it will break through, then a day or two later it will shed the seed skin shell and two leaves, cotyledons will separate, then reach for whatever light source you have. I typically put them by a window at this point, in direct sunlight and by night they have their first true set of leaves and they double the amount everyday under normal cirumstances. A new set upon a new set everyday. After a few sets Id put them under artificial light. My ideology is to not pay for what I can get free most o the time...haha
