I placed my seed that I found in a nug in a bottlecap filled with water yesterday night around 3 am. It is 5pm and the seed is starting to turn lighter and is starting to sink a little bit. How long should I leave it in the water for? What do I do next?
1 day max, if it hasn't drowned by that time, push it and see if it stays down, if it doesn't you're probably screwed, if it does take it out, put it on some wet paper towels or cotton, in a dark, warm place, when you see a white root coming out (took me 3 days), it's time to put that seed in some soil, about 2 cm deep, and now you wait till it pops from the soil. And bam you've got a seedling!
