I have several grows under my belt. But at this stage of flowering Im constantly having issues. The serrated edges and tips of my plant are all crispy brown. It seems growth has stopped because of it. I grow in coco, using the advanced nutrients coco line. I have not flushed, I water about every2-3 days. I have not yet flushed my plant. I figured my two week flush before chop should be in about a month. I’m in need of desperate help.
Could be nute burn, could be heat stress, or something else. Some pics in natural light would help diagnose your leaves better.
Ok about to take more now. I did also remember I added Epsom salts last week could that cause it ? Don’t think it’s heat because I have circulation going on.
After looking at the new pics (thanks for that btw), it looks more like nute burn. I personally don't think epsom salt alone could cause the nute burn. Just feed her pHed water or lessen the nute doses on the next couple of feedings.
I’m also thinking last week when I grabbed my water jugs, normally I get distilled. But I think I had to grab some that were either purified water or just drinking water. So maybe, because I didn’t take that into account and didn’t lower my nutrients added, maybe that was the cause? But I appreciate the help. I was just about to pull out one of my lights. I have two one 300 watt led and a 600 watt led but I think it’s closer to 450 true wattage. So I didn’t know if that was possibly the cause ? But didn’t make sense because both lights have been in there for a month month and a half.
I personally never heard of a case where either purified or drinking water were the culprits of nute burn. I use purified store-bought water myself for my plants with no issues whatsoever. I even recommend it for those who wish to start with a very low ppm/ec level. My ppm usually starts at around 4 when I use purified water. It was most likely cause by not lowering the nutes you added. I didn't see any signs of heat stress, which is why I ruled it out.
