Hello, so I was wondering if there was anyone out there that's advanced with vapes and would be able to help me find one I'm looking for something that vaporizes dry herbs, portable, something that does not smell, I don't really have a price range, but anything cheap to start off that covers these features would be great!
Heard nothing but good things about the airizer solo(spelling, lol >.<) Never tried one but from the reviews...definitely hope to own one in the future. Personally the only portable vape I own is a pax..definetaly fits my needs and I do love the thing. But more money then the solo, and not the biggest 'vaporer' so I wouldn't jump on that one first.
A few pointers: Skip pens completely. Everybody I know (including me) started by buying a pen shortly before spending more money on an actual vaporizer. The average pen on the market is a weak, expensive, glorified 1 hitter. Don't penny pinch. I know so many people who tried to stick to unreasonably low budgets and/or bought cheap Chinese knockoffs of vaporizers. Find a reputable company and pay a little extra for something that includes a 10 year (or lifetime) warranty. On the smell- I gotta warn you everything smells a little. Some are better than others when it comes to that. The Magic Flight Launch Box is practically odorless if you know how to use it right. If you're in a dorm or apartment complex and need to keep it on the dl, vaporizers help a lot but you should still take some precautions (smokebuddy, spray, fan, etc). I've bought quite a few vaporizers, and I've tried just about every well known piece on the market. If I could start my search for a vaporizer again I'd skip the hundreds of dollars wasted on junk and go right to something like a Pax2 (which I own and really like despite a few flaws) or a Crafty (a buddy of mine got this a few weeks after my Pax and I've been jealous ever since.) If you're dead set on a budget I'd recommend the Magic Flight as a simple piece that'll do the job pretty well if you put in a little work to get the technique down. But I'd strongly urge you to jump out of the gate by saving up if needed and go high-end portable like the Pax2 or Crafty. You're looking at $100 ish for the Magic Flight and $300-350 for the others. Do a little homework and enjoy! Best of luck.
I've had the Pax, Magic Flight, Crafty, and the Mighty. Sold the Pax after a couple of weeks because I hated cleaning it. If you're on a tight budget I'd recommend the Magic Flight Launch Box. It's easy to clean, small, and the hits are full of flavor. I like the Crafty because the temp is adjustable and it's easy for everyone to use. The Mighty is pretty much the same as the Crafty, but it's bigger due to the larger battery.
One nice thing about the Pax2- cleaning it is really just swab out the oven & run a pipe cleaner through the draw tube and you're gold.
The Arizer Air is more portable than a Solo and half the price of a Crafty / Mighty. The Air has batteries that swap out, so very good for when out and about. Currently there exists a large discount for US residents buying from Canadian websites. There is a code over at Fuckcombustion that will allow you to buy an Arizer Air for $199 Canadian including an extra battery and free shipping this works out to about $145 US. PM me here or at FC (same user name) and I will tell you where to find the code.
I bought a desktop vaporizer. It's a Arizer Extreme Vaporizer and it cost me including shipping, $165. It's digital and comes with a remote. It is a 3 in 1 which most vapes don't have. You can vape with a whip, vape with a balloon. Lastly, if your room or wherever you are in the house, diffuse some potpourri or a cotton ball with a few drops of essential oil. It comes with a whip and two mouth pieces, two balloons, two cyclone bowls for your herb, a bowl for your essential oils or potpourri, a glass stirring stick. You can look up the item on.... Planet of the vapes.com. The Arizer Extreme has gotten a lot of positive reviews and most people compare it to the Volcana stating the Arizer is just as good, but for way cheaper. I'm very happy with my vape and don't plan on purchasing any others. Hoped this helped some. Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Me and my homie went in on one and i am actually really impressed with it. Normally i would need to smoke 2 bowls just by myself to get high but we pack the pax one time, stir it one or 2 times and we both get high off one packing, its really great.
Arizer products are great. I would go with Arizer Air as it is solid slim and other reasons listed in an above post.
I'm actually selling a Crafty by Storz and Bickel if anyone is interested. I bought it at full retail, it has very low hourly usage logged, and is in absolutely perfect condition. Message me if you're interested. Thanks guys! Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum mobile app
