Help choosing a strain

Discussion in 'First Time Marijuana Growers' started by Commexo, Jun 7, 2010.

  1. So, I've decided to try my hand at growing, and have put alot of time into trying to choose a strain to start with. Judging by potency, yield, height and growing difficulty, I have come to a crossroads at White Widow and Black Pearl. Can anyone who's had experience with either of these give me a little insight? How hard is it really to grow either of these strains? What is the high like? Yield? Any general information would be awesome.

    Happy blazing.

  2. Depends a lot on your grow room conditions and care as to the strain to use. MJ likes a temp of 75-80, but if your GR has temps of 85 or so and Afghan strain(Mandalla strain)is better.
Sativas usually grow taller and produce a head high, wheras the indica are a little bushier and give a body high as used in medical MJ.
A lot of strains have the best of both sativa and indica strain. Just get seeds from a reputable seed bank known for producing consisteant strains and the type high you preffer for your growing conditions.
