An old friend of mine has gotten HPV this past year. Not having talked in years, she wants to hang out with me this week since she's been visiting some old high school friends and what not, she wanted to see me as well. MY problem is, she wanted to smoke with me too. I don't know much about HPV and sharing bowls with people, but can you get HPV from sharing a bowl with someone? And yes I know about the burning the tip of the pipe to burn the bacteria thing, but whether or not it does, I don't want to offend her by going the extra mile to not get anything from her. Don't wanna make her feel uncomfortable, you know? And yes I've googled it, but it never specifies just HPV. It keeps giving me broad answers.

No you won't get hpv. If you're scared then hold the flame on the tip of the bowl for a few seconds to kill any bacteria.
