Hello fellow cultivators ! I have seen this before, but can't be too sure if it's actually what's going on.. I understand that when cannabis plants change light cycles they also have to go through strong hormone reversals, some times causing plants to grow in abnormal patterns.. Patterns like curling and folding blades.", or growing 3 or 1 blade leaves. I am week 4 into flower, and I am almost positive that I have not had any light leaks to affect cannabis cycle, but there have been a couple of instances were I wasn't sure if light penetrated the room. So I put up a few pics of the buds, and maybe I can get a few opinions about what you guys think.. If she looks like her growth has retarded or if she is coming along ok. Thanks guys
If they in week four of flower I would'nt be very impressed tbh, are they sativa dominant or indica, even for indica dom i wouldn't be impressed , what you feeding your plants, are you using and boost?
If this means anything I started from seeds. The calyxes pretty much started to open up last thurs. I am using general organics kit. But my problem is that I think the tops kind of look like they are reverting
A lot of Indica and Indica hybrids would probably have a lot more pistols and bigger calyxes, but this is a 10 week strain. I think it is Afghani, super lemon afghani to be precise
This is a cheese strain from greenhouse seeds co. She doesn't look too far off from my four weeks, but I know what you mean. I have seen way bigger buds at four weeks, that's using a new expert line of food like advanced nutrients , etc.
It could be caused by any stress, light leaks, nutrient levels, ph, heat stress, over/under watering, etc... It looks a little behind, but not too bad. Just make sure everything is in check, and keep flowering. Check your humidity too, it could be very low.
Some better pics would help a great deal, they looking pritty healthy tho, take more pics in natural light cos carnt see much from pics under hps ,
