Help! Brown leaves in Flowering

Discussion in 'Sick Plants and Problems' started by coolg123123, Feb 9, 2011.

  1. hello guys
    6 weeks in flowering
using biobizz, feeding according the feeding chart of biobizz
i have problem only with one of them
    the small high leaves:
the tips became brown and curling up
what do u think it is?
its only the leaves near the main cola flower.

im using 8 tubes of flouro so there is no heat problem - 25 Deg Max

  2. From what i've been researching about the problems with mine, it could be MG def.. The curling up and brown. But im in-experienced so... Take this as a free bump..

  3. That is a tough one, but considering it is only on the main top and it is unlike any deficiency i am aware of i would have to put my money on light burn.

  4. now that i am seeing the severe clawing of the lower leaves i am thinking it is nute-burn or prob nute lock-up via salt. I would flush with 1/8 strength nutes @ 10x pot size in soil 20x netpot size in hydro, then renute at 1.6Ec. You fail to mention important information regarding details about your grow that would help us to put together a more educated guess as to the problem...

  5. thanks for your comments.
    im grwoing in soil.
    the ph is ok
i also think its over-fertilizing cause the chart of biobizz
    looks too much.
    the last feeding i used:
4ml biogrow, 4ml biobloom, 4ml topmax for each liter.
and i give every plant like 2 glasses of water (with nutes).

i didnt understand how much u recommend to give after the flush.

  6. forgot mention,

watering every 4-5 days when the soil is dry
the Temp is low so the soil holds the water for few days

  7. flush is done with 3ml grow & 3ml bloom per gallon.

quit using the topmax for now as humic acid will lower ph in soil. How are you so sure the ph is ok???do you test the runoff?? do you have a meter to test nute solution ph before feeding?

monitor plants and make sure you see recovery before you water with nething other than
    6.5phH20
