Help...Been smoking for 3 years daily and now I need a job.

Discussion in 'Beginner Cannabis Consumption & Tips' started by jedus, Nov 20, 2010.

  1. I got laid off :(. Now I gotta go find a job. How long would it take to detox my body after smoking daily for 3 years. I'm 180 lbs and I'm not really active. I'm debating whether going for synthetic piss or taking a T break.:(

  2. Take a break. Exercise and drink plenty of fluid you will be able to pass a dt anywhere between a week and a month. Everyones body is different so its very hard to tell.

Go out and buy a home piss test after the first week or two of not smoking. So you know if your likely to pass.

  3. probly around a month maybe a little less if you work for it, and drink LOTS of water and i mean lots, not just incorporating a bottle or two in every day. you also need to start doing some cardio exercise

  4. if your in america if you get laid off dont you get a year paid? and yes take the t-break forget about the weed right now its time to do business. without job you have no money without money u have no weed(unless u grow it)

if your not active it will take u a month give or take a few days

  5. You get welfare. You put money into it while you work and when you don't have a job (Depending on how long you work) determines on how much and for how long you'll receive it for.

For 3 years work I'd expect close to max payments.

  6. Yup, itll be sufficient for a little while. So if ur in super desperate need, then stop smoking for one month, and then get a job, and then smoke and ull be fucking flying.

  7. well health is a general thing you should be concerned about
take a t break and get fit

  8. C'mon man just take a T-break. This is why marijuana users have such a bad reputation now a days...because for some people it consumes their life. You will feel so much better if you do it the legitimate way, and you will have a better perspective on the herb if you spend some time away from her.

As far as detoxing, it really isn't as hard as you might think. Your 180 pounds and mostly sedentary? I would say you could do it in 3-4 weeks max. Maybe even 2-2 1/2 weeks. It's really up to you to shed the THC from your body. THC is stored in your fat so basically the more fat you burn, the quicker your going to be clean for a drug test. If you can find it in yourself to go to the gym and run as much as your body can take every single day for the next 2 weeks, and buy a detoxification kit from your local GNC, I say it's definitely possible that 2-3 weeks is a reasonable time table.

It's times like this in life where you have to take initiative and be an adult. You can do it.

EDIT: drink plenty of fluids too. Look in to b-12 and niacin.

  9. Well I'm gonna try. It's gonna be hard as hell considering most if not all of my friends blaze 24/7. Cardio sounds like a good idea. I'mma see if I can do it in 2 weeks.

  10. drink mad water, and sweat it out.
if you need to do it fast check out a sauna... helps to sweat alot of weight off of you...

  11. Okay. I'm gonna try exercising tomorrow. Damn I'm already fiending...

It's called unemployment insurance not welfare. They're two completely different things. You can't get UI if you didn't work. You pay into it every pay check you get on the books. It's your money, don't be afraid to take it. It would be the same as paying for car insurance and not filling claims when something happens.

Oh yeah. There is an 18-month base period they look at, but other than that it's based on what you made, not how long you worked. There is a weekly payment ceiling in most (if not all) states. Usually around 400-500 a week if you make enough.
