I just got this new bong Black Leaf - 3-arm Perc Ice Bong with Ashcatcher - Green - Glass Bongs - Bongs and Waterpipes - Smoking Pipes - Grasscity.com Its my first bong and was very happy to get it I took two hits out of it and the ash catcher was already clogged. it is my first time trying out an ash catch and im now very disapointed with this bong. I understand that i can get a new ash catch or precooler but i looked at the reviews and they said if they put one on it would fall over. Is there a way to make it not clog as easy?
put a glass/steel/titanium screen in there and it should help. when I had an ashcatcher like that I just had a spoke from my bmx bike, and id slide down into it to unclog it
Gonna have to get a better ash catcher. Those ones don't function very well, as they clog and the amount of water they hold is so tiny, dirty after one hit. You best bet is a carbon filter if you are worried about the ash catcher being to heavy for it.
What flurgen said. Those AC are horrible. I would rather have a reg push slide instead. Carbon filter, or a AC that has a removable slide. Before you invest in a good AC, get a better bong. I strongly suggest a carbon filter. That would be better on that bong.
Then i suggest him to go and get a better bong then lol. The only ashcatcher i have owned was this toro one and i love it.
I got a carbon filter don't know much about them can anyone tell me what they do? Obviously they filter smoke but does it feel any better?
It takes out any harshness from the hit. Full your filter with carbon, rinse it under a faucet quite a few times until dust stops flowing out with water. I suggest running water for 5 seconds, blow it out and repeat until no more dust.
The activated carbon you put in the filter has micropores that tar and other unwanted stuff sticks to. It keeps your glass cleaner longer and I've always thought it was a smoother hit. Some people say it affects the taste, but if your worrying about taste you should get a vape.
Well i have a vape to but if i can get a healthier way of smoking as well its great. Vapes nice for when im alone but when a few people are over bongs all the way. (Its a whip vape a volcano would be cool with a few people but whips just are annoying to try and pass)
I recommend just getting a nice bowl instead of a better ashcatcher. You'll have a hard time finding a good one from under $50 and its really not worth it with a small bong like that.
