help!! anyone recognise this light unit?

    Hi,
    I just bought what i think is a metal halide light unit 2nd hand.

    The lamp has writing on it that says Kolorarc MBIF 400/H S4 GB and has a symbol that says GE in caligraphy font

    The actual unit says Thorn 400w MBI DCC 400 IP 21

    DOes anyone recognise this light unit and can i use a HPS bulb instead of the halide one.

    Please help a newbie out so i can start my grow asap

    if its a halogen its garbage it gets to hot a pic would help

    If you go to this web page you will see it.
    You cannot use a hps bulb in this fixture unless you buy a conversion kit which would enable you to use both MH & HPS.
