Help! Aero clones not rooting after 9 days!

  1. Hi,
I'm a first-time grower and I have a 100-plant aero cloner that runs with a 165 gph pump for the misters and a slightly smaller pump that feeds oxygen into the water. I test the pH every second day and it is always around 5.8 or 6, with a few adjustments. The water temp is 72 and I add around a capful of B1 every day. The misters run 24/7, because I was made to understand that for clones this is what is done.

It has been 9 days now and the clones have shown no signs of roots yet. When I check underneath, each stem has a droplet on the end of it, and the misters (while not atomizing the water because the pump is too weak) spray all of the plants nonetheless, but don't drench them.

Prior to planting them in clay pellets, I cut the stems at 45 degrees, 4 nodes down, scraped the sides with sharp scissors gently, dipped them in cloning powder (next time I'll use gel, because it stays on better) .

I'm worried now because it has been over a week and there are no obvious signs of rooting yet. Am I just being impatient and paranoid? What can I do to ensure success?
