Hi everyone, I've decided to build my own grow cabinet. I bought one at ikea, the dimensions are 40 Inches high - 12 inches side to side and 13 inches deep (I know its kinda small but I only want to grow one plant). I want to make sure I can control the smell coming out of it so I would like to install a carbon filter and inline fan. I'm planning to get the inside covered with reflective paper. I'm thinking to get a little hydroponic system going on (DWC). And I was looking at the lights and it seems like LED are best since they don't produce much heat, and I save on electricity. I've done some research and understand how everything works. That being said I don't know what to purchase and I'm giving my self a budget of 300-400 dollars to get everything done. If you guys have any advice on what to pick or some helpful DIY, at this point any information would help.
For 400 you could get a small tent setup.....youll never get a fan and carbon filter in there, plus lights and plant... plus you could grow 2 or 3 Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
I was thinking I could drill a 4 inch hole, get the exhaust of the carbon filter trough it and attach the fan on top of the box. But you are right, I could get more product in the end for the same budget by growing a few plants at the same time. Do you know where I could look to buy a whole set? or like specific pieces I could buy separately and put together for that budget?
