How do you do! I'm Tianlin, a new member. I don't know how active I'll end up being on here, but I thought I'd check this forum out a bit.

I'm in my early thirties, first smoked when I was 16 and fell in love instantly. I'm restricted to limited black market sources, but a number of physical and mental health issues like joint pain, anxiety and insomnia lead me to generally prefer indica-dominant strains these days when they are available, though during the day or as a special treat a nice energetic sativa or sativa-forward hybrid can be a nice smoke indeed.

  2. Thanks for sharing.. welcome! How do you pronounce your name. My brain isn't working that one out. And since I asked, my real name is Siana, pronounced Shauna.

  3. Is your name Irish by chance? I ask because it sounds like it may follow similar pronunciation rules to the name Siobhan, and I've only met two Siobhans and they were both Irish. Just wondering :)

My name on here is the pinyin for my Chinese name (minus tone markers), the characters for which are 天临. If you aren't already familiar with the pinyin system, tian will be pronounced sort of smooshed together as a single syllable, more like "tyen" than "tee-an," and this syllable is said with an even, nearly sing-song tone. "Lin" is pronounced almost identically to the English word "lean," but is supposed to be pronounced with a rising tone, as you do at the end of some questions in English.

If reading a description doesn't help, copy and paste 天临 into Google translate and you will get the option to hear the computer read it for you.

  4. You described it perfectly. I did copy and paste it to confirm. How beautiful!

And yes! It is Celtic. Nice catch.

I'm actually Siana Rae which is fully in line with the Celtic line. I do, well.. I've been told I'm party Irish but I've not researched that to find out for sure.

Where are you located, if you don't mind divulging? I'm in SE WI, USA.

  5. For now, Florida, but I'll be moving back up north soon temporarily, for anything from a month or two to a year or so. The plan is to teach English abroad asap, but circumstances may force me to postpone this.
