It's good to meet all of you! I live in the Southeastern United States and have been growing weed for most of my life. I started growing when I was 15 and I'm 58 now. In the last 40 years, I think I've run into almost every problem or challenge that can happen while growing weed. I've had my breaks from growing, so it's not been a constant 40 year experience, but I guess I've had about 30 years total with plants growing. For the last 25 years, I've grown all my harvested crops with ebb and flow hydroponics. I have a crop that I just flipped to flowering and two brand new grow rooms being built, so I have lots to share with all of you. I look forward to talking with all of you and sharing any knowledge I have that is needed by others. Once in awhile, I run into new problems or modifications of my systems that I need advice on, so it'll be a two-way street of information. I'll start a Journal for my grow now. EDIT: I'll be more clear about my experience, since it's been challenged already after only being here in GC a week. I'm now 58 years old. I've been growing weed since I was 15. When I say I've been growing for 40 years, it's an approximation. I've had times that I didn't grow for months. Several times. So I haven't been growing constantly for every minute between 15 and 58 years old. I started using hydroponics for growing my weed in 1980. Again, I've had a few months off from growing since then, so it's not been an exact 30 years of Hydroponic growing. Again, I approximated the years when I say "almost 30" or "30 years". I'm an avid reader and have read everything I could find about growing weed, over the years. I've tried many of the methods I've read about and settled on growing with Ebb and Flow, using GH nutrients. It may not be the best, but it is what I use and I'm satisfied with its results. There, this is a way to clarify my statements when I approximate the years of my experience. One of the Mods here has already called me out on it with a tone of disbelief. Frankly, if someone doesn't believe me, I don't give a rat’s ass. Get over it. Challenge my knowledge.
Thanks for the welcome. So much to see...I love the hydro areas. I've already learned something about aeroponic equipment that I didn't know. I'm an old dog who will eagarly learn new tricks! The #3 text works much better for me too. My origonal posts had mixed font size in them I think. I was taking it from another place and pasting it in here. What a mess.
