I'm germinating seeds in rockwool cubes in a mini greenhouse. I bought one of those heating pads but the temp inside goes up above 90 degrees when I run it. I'm using CFLs for lighting and the temp inside the greenhouse stays around 85 degrees with just the lights on. Should I be using the heat pad or will high temperatures hurt my germination process? Any advice is greatly appreciated. \t\t \t\t \t\t \t\t \t\t \t\t \t\t \t\t \t\t \t\t\t \t\t\t \t\t\t\t \t\t\t\t
if the green room gets up to 85 you dont need a heating pad but if the temp every drops i would continue to use it for sure! just make sure if your not using the heating pad you spray in the greenhouse(sprout or not) 5 to 7 times a day! but those mini greenhouses or the seedling dome kits work bad ass! good luck
