Greetings! I'm considering having a heat pump installed this spring. From what I understand, it is an external unit (like central air) that will do both heat and AC. It comes into the area with a 2" copper pipe, and has head units in each zone. This seems like the best option for efficiency, and heating/cooling situations. I would prefer to cool like this rather than run a TON of external air into my room thus disrupting my co2 (which I am installing this week). In my climate, it gets cold in the winter (snow), and hot in the summer (90's in july and august). I run 12 plants legally flowering, with 6k watts (I think I'm jumping to 8k watts shortly. So, is there a rule of thumb for sizing these units based on watts of light or something? I'd like two zones. I'd like to vent vegge and flower seperately with their own fans. Thoughts? w00
