Im just about to go into 12/12 but the 400 watt HPS generates too much heat during the day to turn them off and the humidity soars at night if I dont remove them. But I cant go totally black if theyre on. Do I have to remove the fans each day for the night?
I have been enlightened over night.... I think the op means the fans he is using cast some sort of light in the room therefore he cannot use them during the night cycle.... and that causes the humidity to rise like crazy.... still....unless those fans are covered in christmas led lights can't you just use gaffer tape to cover the usually faint little red display (if that's the case) ?? and why would you want to turn the fans off during the day time?? plants like ventilation.... if that was the case you are facing I deserve 10.000 points rep for understanding you..... if not,,, oh well, it was fun....
You should leave your fans or blowers on 24 hours a day every day. So leave them on at night period. The plants should be getting total darkness at night period.
