Heat Problems

  1. Okay, So I have a 430cfm exhaust fan in a 42 cubic foot room and using a 400 watt light. I also have an oscillating fan blowing. The length of the ducting for my exhaust is about 15 feet if that matters. My problem is that the temps are reaching up to 97 degrees! I don't know what the problem is. Also the lights are on 24/7 if that is a problem.

  2. you could probally turn your light back to 18/6 for a start, that should definately help some. your fan sounds like a 6" you could put a 8 or a 10 in with a reducer and really get some venting power.. also do you have a good enough intake air supply?

  3. Any other suggestions?

  4. if you can i'd probably suggest an a/c and make sure you got some good intake. if it's passive it might not be enough.
