Healthy New Hash Plant Clones

These Hash Plant clones are about 3 weeks old. They were under 400W, HPS for the first 2 weeks. I know this is strong for clones, but a friend had them next to the mother in the growroom, so they were about 4 feet away from the light. Last week I brought them home and put them under 150W HPS for 5 days. Yesterday I added another 150W for a total of 300W. I also added an intake and outake of each side of the top of the top. The lights were about 10 inches from the clones for the night and all day today, but then I noticed that all the leaves were pointing straight up. I moved them down so they are about 15" from the lights now.
Why were the leaves pointing up?
Any other suggestions?
I'm fairly new to this.
