Healthy girl starting to look sick

Discussion in 'Sick Plants and Problems' started by Tokin'Tofer, Jul 12, 2020.

  1. Anyone know what deficiency this looks like? Got some leaves turning pale green to yellow and brown from bottom up. She's 4 weeks into flower in a 3 gal fabric pot in FFOF and FF trio nutes. Always watered with 7.0 ph temps stay around 75 and humidity around 70. She's been happy and healthy her whole life so I'd really like to nip this in the bud so to speak.

  2. Humidity and ph both sound high, no pun intended.

  3. I know, humidity is a constant battle for me because I live in a tropical region. And I keep ph between 6.5-7, never above 7. And she's been perfectly healthy in these same conditions her whole life and just randomly starts showing those signs after no change.

  4. What are you feeding? Humidity would hurt fan leaves? It will be an issue for your buds with mold and such.

  5. Check your soil ph?

  6. Right, that's my thoughts. I've always dealt with the humidity but that's not the issue here. I feed with the fox farms trio.

  7. Just checked, soil ph is 6.8

  8. How much you feeding?

  9. I follow the chart for mixing and feed twice a week

  10. If you're feeding based on the directions on bottle, twice a week? Far too much.

  11. No I make the mix and on feeding days I do half of my 1L watering bottle with nutes and half plain water, 1 gal of mix nutes lasts about a month for one plant.

  12. I dunno man. I'm saying nute burn, heat stress or ph??

  13. Right? I'm stumped. PH runoff is 6.8, so I wouldn't think it's off enough to cause this. And the temp ranges between 72-75 but never goes above 75 in the tent. And if nute burn I'd expect to see a lot of burnt tips but it's only a few leaves starting to discolor and I don't feed enough to burn. Was really hoping someone would know what's going on, she's been too healthy for her to go down on the final stretch.

  14. Come on guys, no one has seen this before?

ph run off is about halfway between what goes in and what comes out. Google ph soil slurry test. Do that and tell us

also list of deets, watering frequency/amount.
    Nutes used/amount.

Looks like purpling from cold. Twisty leaves usually some sort of ph issue.

worse one look like those in the corner. You got lots of different size pots?

  16. Dude everything listed above can be the only issues, just because you have done it the same way with success in the past doesent mean it CANT be one of those things this time around man, if youre not getting the answers you want Google that shit, theres so much information everywhere, do some research as everyone else does when they are having issues dont wait around on here for someone to maybe answer back in a day or 2, your plant looks like it needs help now, or you may just lose that crop all together.

  17. Here i will stop reading posts and drop this one on you, well into week 4 of flower, plant is going pale, yellowing and fan leaf dying off. This is completely normal. This happens to any cannabis plant as it flowers the nutes it takes in change, with lower N and higher PK at this point the plant feeds off the fan leaf as the buds grow and swell, my personal experiences have shown this every grow ive done and seen over 20+ years. You can stop this by adding N but your also going to make your buds harsh, the less N you have left in the plant at harvest the better. At 6wks I stop all together feeding and just water every 3 days until I harvest.

  18. Yeah. Ph. High nutes and low watering Got some leaf folding going on. Bet the good leaves feel super papery
