Headaches?

Discussion in 'Experienced Cannabis Enthusiasts' started by dolus, Jan 11, 2005.

  1. Hey. I've recently quit smoking herb (for a while, at least) for a few reasons; lack of job/money, girlfriend, etc). It's been about a week now since I last smoked, and I've been getting these headaches lately.

It's not a migraine, just a headache. Not really severe, but just always there, more towards the back of my head. Advil (and such) work, but not very well, unfortunatly. I dont remember the exact date that I started getting them, but it was shortly after I quit smoking. They come every day, within a few hours of waking up, and I still have 'em when I go to sleep :(

Now I know that pot isn't physically addictive, but is there any way that the headaches could be linked to quitting smoking?

    Thanks!

  2. actually, pot is mildly physically addictive. less addictive than nicotine. Once, when I had to quit, I did get just a slight headache the next day, but after that it went away.

  3. if its for more then a day or 2, it is most likely not related to marijuana.

  4. I am currently taking a 2 week break to lower my tolerancy, the only thing i notice is it is much harder to sleep at night. Besides that i dont really notice anything different then when i was smoking a few times a day.

  5. I got these headaches frequently when I had stopped smoking for like 6 months, and started up again.. I got them alot. I went to my doctor about it and he perscribed me some Imitrex... Just see your doc's and get some pills... no biggie
