Quick correction and some more info: It's H.R. 2306, the Ending Federal Marijuana Prohibition Act of 2011. The bill has been assigned to the House Education & Commerce Subcommittee on Health, but they've scheduled no action on it. The Judiciary Committee also has jurisdiction.
Yeah, the dickhead chair of the judiciary committee has authority and refuses to even have a hearing at that level. NORML has an email form on their site that you can use to urge your congressman/woman to support HR 2306! WE CAN END PROHIBITION!!
