For some reason, I've been having a lot of trouble inhaling BHO from my oil rig (a.k.a. vapor rig or dab rig), possibly due to unrestricted airflow. Before, I was using a Highly Educated DualiTi nail, and I was constantly screwing up my hits. I would take a hit, but instead of just making me high, it would make me dizzy and give me a headache. So I bought an InfiniTi nail to try and remedy the problem. While it has tighter airflow, it still doesn't eliminate the problem altogether. I'm pretty puzzled at this point, because I remember when a couple of months ago I was taking my hits properly. So what the heck am I doing wrong? Is it possible that a rig with an open mouthpiece (like a bong) would be easier to inhale from than a rig with a tapered mouthpiece (more like a bubbler)?
Inhaling differently doesn't change the kind of high you get... That's all chemical. You either inhale or you don't. If you get dizzy, take smaller hits.
Shazzy's right and airflow wouldn't that big of an effect, if anything a tighter draw could make you dizzy since you have to pull harder.
The dizziness could be from bad bho, and the restricted airflow could be from all the oil reclaim in the downstem. Try cleaning your piece and see how it hits.
