mixing 6500k and 2700k during both vegging and flowering gives a better range of spectrum and mimics the sun alot better. duing veg, have more 6500k and during flower have more 2700k. But mix it up Good luck
Mixed spectrum is best...as long as you are providing enough of the spectrum needed for that growth phase. In other words, fine to add 2700k lighting in veg as long as you have plenty of 6500k lighting already. But, if you are giving less 6500k than needed for veg for your grow op then add more 6500k not 2700k. Same principle for flowering, reversing the spectra.
