Having outdoor problems

Discussion in 'Growing Marijuana Outdoors' started by foofeenono, May 23, 2006.

  1. my plant is 4-5 weeks old now and recently the bottom 2 round leafs turned pale and yellowish. The plant itself is growing slow, only one row of inch long leaves and a second row of 1/4 inch leaves. The stem itself is a purple color. My friend has plants growing in the same conditions as me and his are growing taller and faster. Both spend all day outside.

Should i go ahead and transplant my plant to the ground even though it seems small?
And do the small round leaves usually change colors ?
And purple stem when all ive seen is green :\ ?

    Thanks for any input.

  2. when those small round leaves turn yellow it's feeding time :)
i also have some with purplish stems but they grow out of it normally

  3. Do you have them in something big so the roots can grow?

  4. If I get yellowing I give some fert and a bit of epsom salts, about a teaspoon in a gallon. Adds magnesium. Yellowing can be a deficiency of Mg.

  5. does the yellowing of the bottom leaves mean that the plant is dieing. who else has heard the salt in a gallon of water to add magnesium. i have some plants with bottom yellow leaves

  6. Sorry, do not follow that question.
