having loads of trouble with new big bubbler

    yeah, so i got this bub for 60 bucks, and its weird. it is nothing like a traditional bubbler, its huge! imagine putting the barrel of a gun in your mouth, but the mouthpiece is like a bong, and like where the trigger area would be is where you grip it as if you were holding a handled glass cup. the carb is on the back of the grip, then theres where the bowl goes, it slides out like a slider bong. problem is, im failing miserably at it. ive somehow shot water up the stem and soaked a bowl of green. i cant figure how much water is the correct amount, it burns my bowls fast and it just isnt as phenomenal as i thought itd be. any ideas for me? i cant find a pic even close to it sorry

    no camera. heres a better wording, imagine a curved squared b. like the letter. the stem of the b is curved so youre hitting from there, you grip it at the bottom of the stem, carb is directly north on the stem, and the most far right top of the b is where the bowl is

    ok well the stem bringin the slide into the bong that the smoke will come through... fillthe water so its about an inch above where it stops at...

    so like imma show you with a bong, but only cuz the pics are easier to find n shit...[​IMG]

    no need to fill it all the way up... just 1 inch of water above where the slide should meet the water

    well that shux that its like that...

    just the base needs to be filled, id say take a water bottle or something since idont have a measuring cup.... but pour the water until the top of the label on a water bottle...


    oh and if you try to hit it while your pouring the ater in there make sure you get a bubbling osund or feel the water... kind of like know the differnece between inhaling straight air when the bub is empty and the way it inhales a hit... bubbles.

    if it bubbles, its good.

    should it be big bubbles or lots of small sounding bubbles?

    small sounding bubbles.

    big ones just mean too much water... you just need the slide to be submerged in 1 inch of water... not even maybe a half inch to 3/4.

    anything more is just too much and a waste.

    which one of these two is the slide like? the long one or a short one?[​IMG]

    long. probably the size of and average adult pinky with a metal bowl that screws on. (my next buy will be a glass slide)

    ok... well just try to get small sounding bubbles.... if oyu tilt the pipe a lil bit to the side just a lil so the wtaer would be tilted inside as well, hit it while tilted. should get bubbles still, but only like a smudge to the side not like a 45 degree angle or anything ahah.

    rally man fill it up all the way with water and the blow out of it... blow all the water out the hole where the weed is if its really that hard to tell.

    once yuo blew out all the water, there wioll still be some in there just not enough to reach the stem to go out.. so then fill it up just a smudge more and your good.

    its not rocket science haha, and i feel ive spent too much of my time explaining how to get a good amount of water in there, lol good luck with everything im gone
