I have one female plant its about 4 feet tall maybe taller. anyway i was just reading a post about forcing flowering. what do you have to do to get bud. does the bud just show up or do ou have to do something. its an outdoor plant. thanks
If it's an outdoor plant - let mother nature take it's course. The plant is probably beginning to sense that the days are getting slightly shorter. This will trigger it to start flowering. The buds will form by themselves when you grow outdoors... You just sit back and watch basically. Harvest time is usually around the middle of Octoberish (depending on strain, some may be more or less). When it gets closer to then, start checking the trichomes using a magnifying glass (30x or better). When you notice the that most of the heads have turned cloudy, then you can harvest, and get more of a head high. If you wait for them to turn amber, you'll get more of a body high.
