Havent smoked in 7 months should I?

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by TheApprentice, Oct 4, 2010.

  1. The last time I smoked it was about 7 months ago. I havent since because of work and school. The only reason I dont is because I feel like even 10-12 hours later im still high and cant do my work as well. I really want to smoke but I dont want to get so fucked up. Most of my friends it doesnt effect them like it does with me. They can go do shit. Me, I have to just sit on the couch and laugh for hours. But I really want to smoke again help? lol Thanks,

  2. na but in all seriousness, just concentrate man, i actually find it easier to concentrate when i'm high you just have to remember to TRY :p

  3. Just smoke a teeny tiny bit. Man, I'm sort of jealous that it affects you for so long.

  4. sit on a couch and laugh for hours holy crap

i wanna do that lol. ya weed hasnt effected me like that ever.

yes you should do it. cant you do it on a day you dont have work? weekend?

    do it up:smoke:

  5. Yeah I dont know why it fucks me up so bad. Its kinda cool but after awhile its like ok I dont wanna be all fucked up lol. I will the next time I have the day off ill smoke a blunt with some buddies and Ill try to be more focused when Im high.

  6. First, let me start by saying that MJ isn't for everybody. It affects everyone differently, sometimes to an extreme. You may be one of those extreme cases. If it's not for you, then accept that it's not for you and move on.

I find, more often than not, that when someone asks a question like you're asking, you already know the answer, you just aren't comfortable with accepting the answer. If the answer is that MJ isn't for you, then it's just not for you and no one can say anything here that'll change that.

Before you take any advice here, make sure you're not fighting what you already know. :)

If you still want to imbibe, you need to find the amount that works for you. Start small and work your way up. Keep in mind that after a while, you will build a tolerance.

If "dosage" becomes too hard to meter, you can look into making MJ tinctures. Information on this subject is readily available by using the search function and google.

    Hope this helps

Obviously u have a 7month tbreak.... thats like smoking for the first imo. The tbreak alone will allow u to get SUPER stoned. I havent had a 7month tbreak my whole smoking career:rolleyes::smoke::smoke:

smoke it, youll live. Just dont be lazy! i smoke before work and im prob there best employee... it amazes me how people who dont smoke pot can be lazy as fuck.

  8. This is great advice, I think I will smoke a tiny bit soon and just see how I take it. If indeed its not what im looking for this will be the final time. I just want to be sure ya know. But yeah thanks for your advice.

  9. The only tip I have is to start smoking on days when u dont have work or school the next day. Find the worst weed you can find, and work your way up. or get DANK shit and take ONE hit, thats all it takes me from my homegrown.

  10. What you should try doing man if you feel you dont actively do stuff when you get really high is smoke a bowl and then go somewhere or start doing something; write some poetry, go on a walk, go to an art gallery, go to a club...just choose something that engages you and your interests.

If you feel like smoking a little more at some point smoke a little more, if you dont feel like it then just dont smoke any more. It sounds like when you smoke you're getting to that 'couchlock' point where the weed is the centrepiece of your experience or your evening. Whilst this can be exceptionally fun at points it can also be detrimental to your wider interests.

You need to try and do some different things when you're high and by the sounds of it you need to find an equilibrium point for yourself where you can say: past this point I will be sitting on the couch smoking more weed and watching a film/eating/chilling. Before this point I can definitely go out and go to the theatre or an art gallery or a social event of some kind. Personally for me it all depends on the occasion, how much I feel like smoking depends on what I'm doing. When you want to do other things weed has to be the supplement, not the objective. If you just wanna get high and chill, then weed is the objective.

That's how I see it, hope that wasn't too long a read.

  11. I think thats what it is, when I smoke I make the night around smoking. Not smoking just part of what I want to do. When I smoke later this week I plan something to do then smoke and see how it goes.

  12. You could try vaporizing or eating your weed.
I feel that gives me a different, more clear high.
much less hazey, so that may help you when your concentrating on things after your high.
