I think I know what you mean. Sometimes I count to 5 while I hold a hit and I've noticed that if I get distracted by something while counting I can end up repeating the same number in my head without realizing it haha. Sentences do it too, they even feel unnatural when your high and you try to think in sentences. Thats a more sober thing I guess, while being high puts you in a state of mind seemingly more inclined to non-verbal thought.
