So as the title says I'm going out of town in mid May. My guerrilla spot definitely has an issue with a lot of insects, pretty much all types you can imagine that can harm your plants. Can anyone who has left town for a week or so give me some advice on retaining water? Also, what kind of pest control should I use? I have sluggo.
You need a constant supply of water, drip irrigation and a timer.... You also need to treat the pests now or you will return to infested, unsalvagable plants. Sulggo? LOL you needs some serious products such as neem. Neem cake, neem oil or any neem containing product. You need to be running the pest control on a set schedule to keep them at bay all season. You should not plant your flowers until you return. I don't know where you live but, chances are you still don't have enough light to allow the plants to strive.
