Have some questions about possible pests indoors

  1. I found a very quick bug skittering over and under leaves on my plant. I caught and killed it and asked around what kind of pest it may be. I was told by a few people it was likely a thrip. I've found holes and a few kind of rust color spots on some leaves, mainly newer growth which I think plays along with the thrip theory. Anyway, I set up a yellow sticky trap in the tent yesterday and as of yet, have not found anything stuck to it. I've very very thoroughly checked under and over the leaves and still haven't found any other signs of any more pests.

Last night, when lights went out, I sprayed the plant down with Captain Jack's Deadbug Brew, and plan on repeating it every 3 days for a total of 3 applications. What are the odds it was just a one-off thing (as I'm not seeing any more signs of them)? Currently on day 14 of flower.
