Hate the feeling when the high starts to kick in?

Discussion in 'Marijuana Consumption Q&A' started by yikes007, Jun 17, 2019.

  1. I don't smoke very often, when I do it's once every couple of months, but when I do, I hate the feeling when I suddenly feel a "high". When it hits me like a wave. I'm not paranoid per se or anything, but I just hate that feeling. It's almost too intense and overwhelming for me, even after a hit or two, seeing that I don't smoke much. After maybe 10-20 mins I feel better and more grounded, but I still dread that feeling when the high initially kicks in and feels like its knocking me off my feet lol. How can I overcome or avoid this feeling? Can anyone relate?

  2. Is it like that scene in GET OUT?
    Fall into the floor style?

I think you should take smaller hits perhaps. Take it easy.

  3. Lol, the first time I ever smoked, my friends at the time swore that I had a panick attack, but I had just told them that I felt the need to lie down, which I ended up doing since it was really intense. Since then I think I've had to lie down once cuz I felt overwhelmingly tired but it subsided after 10 minutes or so. Ill try and take smaller hits lol
