the ads are annoying..since they put ads on the side now so if u miss that sn u want to im and u click that...but the reason im making this post is the spyware.. i cant open a im without aim closeing right away..spybot cant even fix this shit because it ends up going in active..and the spyware is sending spyware ads to my computer..wonderful marketing..now im going to have to waste a lot of time going into the registy and deleting over 50 keys..
I use my old version of aim with deadaim. No ads and I can set up everything the way I like. I've never really been a fan of trillian though.
why everyone useing MSN?? mostly internationaly too, like UK^^,my cuzzins from mexico, my friends from canada(anyways) ,lol o well i like using my AIM so i dont care if not YAHOO messenger
there's no spyware with aim. aim just leaves free trial icons all over your computer in hopes that you will sign up for aol. aim just has the popup window, and that annoying scroll over ad on the main program gui - the one that pops up an ad. and does anyone else get pissed at that little typing-too-fast meter? i hate that. i'm sorry that i type over 100wpm. i guess i should get punished for it, right aol? and the warning meter pisses me off. jackasses find it funny to have "warn wars," etc. i'd rather get rid of that altogether.
deadaim has nothing to do with that. last year I was able to connect to people. Now I can't b/c of the way I set up the network in my apartment.
