Hashish Potency Over Time

Discussion in 'Marijuana Consumption Q&A' started by Cholo_new, May 21, 2013.

  1. I, am wondering if I light the whole hash bar melting it on tobacco and keeping it in a Baccy container, will the thc decrease over time?
Btw this is my first post on grass city :)

  2. I don't think the storage is the part that will cost you THC. Melting over tobacco will cause you to lose some of it unless you heat it extremely gently. Also, you shouldn't smoke tobacco, just smoke the hash straight.

  3. Where I'm from, we don't get buds or leaves. Just hash/opium sticks. I wish I can melt my hash on top some sweet indica kush and roll a blunt. Il be lucky if I even get bush weed. But hey, that's the shit Marley smoked 😅 so as far as Tokin up is considered, tobacco is the filler by default

  4. the thc is most likely always decreasing over time unless it is being properly stored in a completely airtight container

Putting heat to the hash is putting the thc in even more strenuous than the air and light it already probably deals with so I don't recommend that

leave it as a block and put it in the smallest sized airtight light-proof container in a mild temperature and humidity-free environment if you want it to stay good for as long as possible
