Hey Grasscity just made some oil with my buddies and we have a big bowl of bud that looks like it still has a fair bit of crystals on it, and we are wondering if anyone knows if its possible to use the bud in a vape or to cook with it? thanks in advance p.s. we used the butane method of oil extraction dont know if it makes a difference or not to whether it can be re-used HAPPY 420 TO EVERYONE
I wouldn't want to be eating or inhaling butane. I have no experience at making oil but i'd grind it up really fine and try and make another batch out of it. It probably won't be as good as the first batch though.
Definately not a good idea to smoke or cook with it. At the temps you vape, all of the remaining butane would vaporize as well. Why dont you just do a second extraction? Second run stuff is damn good stuff too!
