Hash in Amsterdam.

Hi. I'm new to this site,but my advice for the best hash/weed in amsterdam is a little coffee shop deep in the red light district (I don't remember where exactly) called funny people ask for the nepal hash or the chocola !!

 

Nothing in the Netherlands (in regards to cannabis) is better than California.

 

You guys are retarded if you actually think the area the bud comes from has anything to do with quality. Living in California doesn't automatically make somebody a good grower. There's good weed everywhere, you just have to find it.

 

False, wrong, incorrect, and completely untrue.

I have to laugh when people think that everything in Amsterdam is automatically better than anywhere else.

I'd bet anything that the weed I get here in Atlanta is just as good, if not better, than the weed in Amsterdam.

Not to mention, I have been told by several people that they were disappointed by the weed in Amsterdam because of how hyped up it is.

 

I haven't been to the 'dam...so consider my reply offtopic...but i've been told the 'dam is about what coffeeshop you go to...most will be offering commercial strains for weed (which is why I've heard US ppl say American bud is normally better than commercial/cofeeshop dutch weed)...u should xpect same for hash shopping in the 'dam...

but i've heard ppl who have been there say hash is the real reason to go there if u don't regularly have access to it...since most of the herb there is beasters...being @ Cali/theWestcoast - the magic of amsterdam is lost on me idk. the redlight district another story tho lol. plan to go there for the cannabis cup in the future.

EDIT: in some places i know 'hashbar' is interchangable with the word 'cofeeshop', so your interest in hash will def be satisfied by visiting the 'dam if thats what u seek.

 

And you're retarded if you don't think it has anything to do with the history of state as well as the legal climate.

 

Anywhere can have good bud - I'm pretty sure everything medical in the US is the same as what's sold in shops in the dam.

I'm from the UK too and heading to Amsterdam this October. I've never had Hash before but I can't wait to try some.

As for the Hash in England I've heard all sorts of stories about how shite it is and that it's hard to find quality stuff. But I'de say in Amsterdam you won't have to worry about bit's of plastic and dog shit in your hash. Why? Because Amsterdam Is world famous for Cannabis, And I'm pretty sure they will have some good quality hash there because it's all regulated.

I wouldn't worry about hash one bit.

 

Never bought hash in England, as i've never found it being sold anywhere. No demand means no supply.

Like anywhere amsterdam can be good or bad. Take alcohol for instance - some bars may have watered down drinks in order to raise their profits. In Amsterdam ive actually heard of wet weed being sold in some of the more commercialised coffeeshops.

When i went to dam i had only smoked once previously and so was not inclined to try the hash. But in terms of recommendation, go on Online Amsterdam Coffeeshop Menus - www.CoffeeshopMenus.org (you'll see that the hash is not limited to just Moroccan as stated earlier), they have everything , and in varying qualities.

This website has a good forum outlining where you should and shouldn't go for quality product.
Most people say steer clear of the touristy commercialised chains such as the Greenhouse and the Bulldog due to lesser quality product and unwelcoming service.

 

The one thing i can suggest for A-dam is, never buy pre-rolled joints - the same rule for anywhere obviously. You'll be buying a large amount of tobacco, or the poorest quality product they have. And if its tobacco you cant even smoke it inside the coffeeshop.

 

Never been to Amsterdam but from what I know you'd be hard pressed to find a better hash spot outside of certain dispensaries/areas in cali and probably a bit in colorado too

It's not necessarily that you can't get the same quality hashes or what have you in most places it's simply the selection and definitive knowledge of what strain it is, etc.

From what iv'e read the following are the best coffeeshops.
Grey Area (Supposedly the best and most welcoming out there. More of a buy and fly place due to very limited space inside)
Abraxas
Dampkring (This is apparently hit and miss as its quite commercialised)
Voyagers
Barneys - lots of previous cup winners
Green Place
420 cafe
Paradox (Supposedly the best edibles in the Dam. Meant to be 1.26g per edibles for 6euros compared to the 0.25g and 0.4g i was getting for about the same price)

 

i didnt say they only have marocan hash but in cali they dont have it and its the best hash in the worls so a-dam>cali

 

Seeing that he used the world "hash(s)" twice I'd say he knows you're talking about hash.
