Has your tolerance just been getting higher and higher?

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by LulzRoyce, Oct 9, 2010.

  1. right now money is tight, so i can only get about a dime a week.....but i only smoke hitters to make it last longer....my tolerance is very low...im a cheap high, and im glad i am...

they other day i had a friend share and he had a bowl....let me tell you, the first hit was so amazing....i hacked my head off...i hit it so frickin hard.... like a one hitter....lol.....my friend started laughin at me....fun times.

  2. It's funny how people can get blazed off of like 1 bowl.. My first time I didn't even get high (joint).. And then it started taking me like 2-3 bowls.. Oh well prob 'cus I was getting schwagg:confused: But I got a bong now and a decent hook-up so its all good:hello:

  3. Sorry, not exactly a seasoned toker but I have a huge tolerance and i'm wondering if anyone has the same problem. I can't get high anymore at all. The most I feel after a few blunts is a tiny relaxing feeling. I have been mostly fine with it since I am used to it, but it makes me mad when I smoke with friends and they all get high and I can't. I am also on many meds, if anyone has alot of knowledge of SSRI's and such does that ever get in the way of bud? Plenty of people have been smoking much longer than I have and they can get more faded than me. I'm pretty sure it's my meds but I can't be certain. I don't think it's just tolerance anyway. Can someone help me? I can put up a list of my meds if that helps?

  4. For me there is no tolerance and I w reading some scientific shit said the more you smoke the easier it is to get high bc the thc receptors act on your body faster iidk something along those lines

  5. I just came off a month T-break, and it really does wonders.

I just had maybe not even half a bowl of some really good dank, and I am stooooooned:cool::smoke:

  6. What do you mean medical grade? Weed is weed, any strain will be great if it's grown properly and if the grower knows what he's doing.

OP, My tolerance has probably been growing but not at a rate that I can blatantly tell. I don't get high off of 1 bowl and then not get high the next.

  7. Mine is really bad. It's about time for a t-break.

  8. It does go up yes. But nothing a month or so of tbreak won't solve and some of the finest dank in your area.

  9. hehe sometimes it takes 2 or 3 to get my on a "good" one. but as one many once said when chronic stops being chronic its time to take a lil breather!

  10. This past summer my tolerance reached its all time highest wear i could barley get stoned off a hole bowl pack but thank god my new tube has changed that, time to rip it while jamming king tubby.

  11. It used to when I smoked every day. Now I just smoke on the weekends and I still get high from just a few hits.

  12. I have found that exercising to the point of such physical exhaustion that you puke for 3-4 days in a row brings my tolerance down by a lot. And I can even smoke each of those days.

  13. Not really. I'm never going to experience what it was like the first couple of times getting high but I can still have a good time from a relatively small amount of weed.

  15. lolwut, why not just take a break off for a week? Same effect but 3 days longer with no puking involved. (and hey if you workout moderately every day of that week you should get extra effects)

  16. I've been a daily smoker for 5 years now. Only took 2 week long breaks.

My tolerance was on the rise for the first 3 years, but now that I've got my technique down, and I have a selection of strains to change things up every week, I've totally levelled out. I have high tolerance, but its not increasing, and its low enough so I can really appreciate strains.

I dont really like having such a low tolerance that smoking feels like a seriously inebriating "trip", so i'm basically "perfect" right now.

  17. Just something I noticed, that's all. I don't do it as a T-break, it just is a consequence. High-altitude backpacking, btw, is why it's so exhausting.

  18. I only smoke about a bowl every couple of weekends now, but I think that there are people whose tolerance levels off at a certain point and a small number of people whose tolerance just steadily keeps increasing.

For example, one of my buddies usually used to get high off just one bowl (we'd do a rotation where everyone smokes their own bowl). Then he started smoking 2 bowls...then 3 bowls per round...then he bought a bigger bowl for MY bong and started packing a g of OUR weed in there...I think me and my other friends are just going to out and tell him that he's either 1) smoking 1 bowl per round like the rest of us 2) taking a 2-month T-break 3)not seshing with us no more

Thing is, when we decide to spend OUR money on alcohol instead of weed because he ends up smoking 50% of it, he gets really angry and wants to spend it on bud instead

  19. I've smoked almost daily for the past year and a half; my tolerance is fucked now. I stay high for a maximum of 485 minutes. Sad panda :(

  20. Im assuming thats a typo but that would be nice.
