Need details; light source and cycle as well as genetics would be foremost. Running bag seed here with a two month 20/4 light cycle; 50w for the first month, 300 + 90 or 300 + 150 for second, then on to 400w HPS for 12/12.
It was a freebie. It's allegedly auto purple kush. It's been under a mars hydro 300 for the last 3 weeks maybe. Before that it was just a 60w led and daylight in the earlier stages. Growth hasn't really been a promble IMO but there's just no sign of flowering yet which is why I'm a bit unsure. It's pretty smelly but I know males can be smelly too
Haven't had the opportunity to work autos but with a 12/12 from seed approach earlier efforts mimics that timeline. Usually males would present first and then within another week or so the girls would start revealing themselves. (edited pork to work but it sounds more entertaining with the original wording)
This part of the plant can be tough to call early on, take a picture of a node with the stem and top in frame. Be extra careful to focus your camera on the stem. Put an external light on the plant, not the grow light if possible, and use your flash. Some of the picture you’ve got here a bit dark or fuzzy, so it’s hard to tell what’s going on. You want something like this. The nodes are in focus, you can see the stem clearly, everything is well lit. Best of luck in your grow! Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
Hon, cannabis is a light sensitive plant. As long as you have it under 24 hours of light, it is very unlikely to show its sex! Cut it back to 12/12 and it will tell you if it is a boy or girl in a week or two. But as of now, it is still in the "baby" stage and not showing its sex! Granny
non-autoflowering plants require less light to enter the flowering stage. buy a cheep timer from home depot and set your lights to a 12 hour cycle -12 hours on 12 hours off. this will trigger flower, and you will start developing bud. since that plant isn't a autoflower it will never enter flower under a 24 hour light.
