Has anyone used sucanat as a nutrient to make buds sweeter?

Discussion in 'Growing Organic Marijuana' started by cigarjack, Apr 27, 2018.

  1. Don't know where I read it but sucanat was used in the plants water because the molasses hasn't been taken out and it would have beneficial properties. I'd be interested to know if anyone here has tried it.
    Thanks

  2. I have heard of it being used in aact type recipes. I believe its one of the ingredients in "Boogie Brew", if its still around.

    cheers

  3. Yes yep
    I’ve used it.
First off it’s not a nutrient.
Nor will it make your buds sweeter.
It’s used to feed the microbes in your medium that upon thier death realease into the medium nutrients the plant can uptake.
Thus makeing ( hopefully) the buds taste as good as genetically possible.

  4. Thanks for the info
