I just got busted for weed under 50 - it was gummies and a dime. This is my third charge in the same town. I got drug paraphernalia, and weed that was merged because they were so close together in 2016. Now I’m going back for a weed and paraphernalia charge. I’m willing to pay the fines but I don’t want to lose my drivers license. I’m 27 and I need my license to get to work.
I can't help you with your question but I can commiserate. In Colorado a few years ago I lost my license when I caught a possession charge and I was no where near a car. Since my license was suspended for 90 days due to a drug offense my insurance company dropped my auto insurance and wouldn't insure me, I had to find a new insurance company which naturally charged me an outrageous amount of money despite not having a traffic offense in more than 10 years and no accidents ever. I may be a little cynical talking about the "justice system."
