Hi im new to the site ,and the computer really, but i was curious if anyone has had some hands on experience using fim and lst on a indica dominant skunk strain,do indicas respond well to both techniques
ok with a little patience i answered my own question.these ladies love bondage ,im not very surprised how much abuse they can take,but you can really give em hell.
id say there is nothing clean topping or fim'n can achieve that a good LST exercise could achieve if done propperly, its true that plants can take a great deal of abuse and stress but if you did everything in moderation you would certainly have a happier plant,, all these techniques can be performed on any plant regardless of there strain
I scrog and fim and get 50+ tops per plant so its good if you want a lot of bud sites..done skunks x kush fimmed as well as a lot of indicas and they respond great to it
thanks for the replies,i appreciate your input,i was nervous being my first attempt at LST or FIM.but now that you mention it a good LST wouldnt need topping, as long as the apical top is tied down the plant will assume its gone, and make more guess i should of got input beforehand, but i will know for next time.
its prolly the friendliest way to train it good, and the top just grows as it does again but you can manipulate where you want it to grow,, im not saying you get more buds one way or another but if your short on space lstns the way to go
