I am going there on vaction soon, and I've heard you can buy Ouzo w/opium in it. I would appreciate any info you have... thanks
Hmmm...I grew up next to a family that were right from Greece...the husband had one of those wonderful Greek Diners I remember from when I lived in NJ. I'm sorry...I don't know anything about the Ouzo (sp?), opium mixture. Sounds like fun, tho. I know Ouzo is pretty kick ass stuff. Lol...hubby and I went camping one time and met this wonderful French-Canadian family. They camped all summer long. They also knew how to make Monk fish...veggies...and Ouzo...all wrapped in aluminum foil and carefully tended to by the cook. I usually hate fish. I ate all of it, and it's still a fav when we camp.
