    i just harvest one of my nirvana auto northern lights it my first grow all the trichomes were cloudy and amber but i was just wondering why doesent it smell like weed ? will it be sh*t weed or does it have to dry to get a smell ? let me know please GC

    sometimes the smell comes out in curring. after drying -put it in jars.

    how long do u suggest drying then cureing ?

    4-5 day hang dry...the ioutsides should be crispy. then into jars. burp them every day for 5-10 mins...stir the buds a bit. 3 months or more and they should be perfect.

    thanks man was a bit worried lol doesent look like ill get a big yeild but atleast il have some nice smoke

    4-5 days is ideal, but in some places that would be too long. Due to humidity levels Mine would be way over dry in 5 days.

    Here's what most do. Check the buds daily when they are hanging by squeezing them. You want the bud to be crispy, but the stem shouldn't be so dry it snaps. The stem should just bend when you try to break it. This is the perfect time to jar them up. Burp, etc, etc.

    If you over dry them before jarring the smell is lost for ever. You will never get it back. But what I described above, you will have left enough moisture in the stems that the buds will soak that up in jars, and after a day or two they will feel a little wet again. Just burp till it's at your liking. Some strains take a few weeks. Some take a few months. Of course you don't have to wait this long, but the longer you wait the better they get. Chopping mine today apex.
