We can't see your trichomes any better than you can.

 

If you have no way of looking, I'd suggest a few variables. First, if you know the genetics, the breeder should give you an idea. Most plants fall between 9-12 weeks. If you have no idea, I'd go off the pistil hairs. From the few times I've harvested there's honestly a pretty big window on when they are "ready" anyway. It just kinda depends on you preference. IDK if you've grown it before, but usually if you've done a strain a few times you can tell on your own.

I flower 10 weeks actual. Southern California never freezes so I get to grow year round. Once all the white hairs have gone orange and retracted against the buds and she has lost her sparkle in the sun and looks dull now. I take them late so I always say another week... or two... or...

Plant looks like it has quite of bit of fattening up to do before you check trichomes. Just my opinion.

Can you share a photo of the full plant? Showing any fall colors? Plant starting to deteriorate? We chop near the end of the plant's life.

 

I take a pic with the wifes phone & blow it up, works better than a loupe imo.

 

you can judge maturity to a degree by the colors of the pistols also

 

Looks like you have a couple of weeks yet, at least.

 

I look for :
Pistils 80-90% red
Pistils receding into calyxes
Calyxes REALLY swollen.

pay attention to the last one. Those calyxes will swell significantly in the last ten days. Buds will go from lookin good, to looking absolutely chunky!

 

Very true, especially if you've seen enough and are familiar with strains. I've been lazy and haven't used a loupe in years. I get plenty high LOL.
